Want to fit one, nothing amazing. I know my car peaks are 6750rpm and want a light to come on when it reaches that.

Easy to do?

Mick? :sly:

Does it get up to 6750, mine peaks out at 4500, thats why its so economical, or not!!:wave::wave:

:hmmm: shiftlight....................a right biatch to tap into the pulse circuit as the coil pack route is no good, but that will depend upon what light you get and the switch settings avaiable. I set my limit to 6500 which is more than enough.

You won't know how hard or easy it is until you get the light unit as they all slightly vary.

So I can't just wire said bulb into said ECU to make it flash at the right time?

Damn....any recommendations?

Yes you can, but it was the last option I had to make it work, finding the right wire was the hard task as it took a while to find the trigger wire. Then the fun began tapping into it!

What you get depends on what you like and how much it costs. Most will trigger 4/6/8/12 cyls. Have a scan on ebay and try a few performance sites as the prices and types of display vary. I went for simple, cheap and compact and is a tacho.
