Hi..apologies if this isn't the right place to post...
My wife has a ZS - 2.5 V6, Trophy Blue - with the blue seat inserts, blue dash and steering wheel inserts (not seen too many with this on) ..2003 from new just over 14k on the clock as seriously she just drives it to and from school! I know it's a waste...
Just fitting a new ignition coil then looking to sell (as we now have an MGF as her run around! )
Just after some pricing guidance as looking on the net etc they seem to vary anywhere between £2k-£4k
It has no after market mods..bog standard dealer issue car bodywork in good nick although some curbing to the alloys..(tut..) any guidance? will get some pics on here once it's ready to go..

Have the cam belts been changed? Whether this has been done will affect the value of the car.

No...didn't think it would need it at that low mileage..
what price difference are we talking? and how much would a change cost? cheers!

The cam belt change can cost anything from around £400 up to £900, depending upon where you get it done.

I do believe it is 90k but after Murrays one went snap at 60k.........I think 60k is about right ;)

Both!

If you have a 6 year old car with low miles it is age.

If you have a 2 year old car with plus 90k miles it is wear and premature age.

In all honesty 6 years or 90k is with their safety factor built in, you'll find it could probably go 10 years and 180k if anyone is willing to give it a go! However that is assuming the engine bay is clean with no leaks or foreign bodies being picked up in the area.

Thanks for all the advice, the car is incredibly clean engine wise - guess as always with these things I will get what someone is willing to pay for it!
Do the blue dash and steering inserts make it more attractive? just haven't seen any others with that -oh and its the saloon with the BIG spoiler!

lol...just can't afford to keep 3 cars! I get the train into work so rarely use mine but it's a hatchback so more "sensible to retain that one...." yeah I know...then the MGF as a runaround..sucks I know...!
