That was recently on ebay for considerably more than the current price, they're asking less than half what the engine parts alone are worth, I'm sure it could be made into an outstanding example in the right hands.

Worst comes to worst you register it as a self build and get an SVA test.

For what it is and what comes with it makes it seem cheap to me. However those sort of cars tend to get bought never to be driven on the road so maybe immaterial for an SV geek.

Why would you want to re-build it and get it looking perfect? Surely part of the charm is the fact it was a prototype, warts and all. By all means get it running, but I'd leave the rest as it is.

Shouldn't this also be the sort of car Gaydon should be buying. It's the sort of curio that I'd love to go and see.
