mgf tf steering wheel adaptor

Hi all, just bought a mgf steering wheel off ebay in red and black to match my half leather. have read the threads on fitting and also on making an adaptor. does anyone now where to buy these or does anyone have one for sale. if not i will have to fabricate one, do they have to be made of metal, alloy, or will be able to make one from a piece of nylon bar?
