I've been working away on my dash today. Because of the amount of work required to remove the dash, I've been recording a video along the way, which i regret doing as i sound like an idiot, but its less hassle than taking pictures and explaining! I have got approx 30 minutes of work left until I can start removing the whole thing. Next thing to do is to wack in the mk2 dash and make sure it all works!!! I'm hoping it does. Here's some piccies :)

sorry guys- i failed this time round.

The dash was completely detached from the bulkhead, but i coudn't get it out the car- steering wheel was in the way. I didn't have the socket required to take off the steering wheel. Will have to wait until another time now, gutted! :(:(:(:( but the dash is back in and all bolted together and working which means i'm no worse off than i was before :)

A right bummer when that happens, at least you're fast becoming an expert ;)

learning the hard way i guess! all a learning curve and still was glad to have dismantled the dash (for a second time!). future mods like TF steering wheel and speed dial mods will be able to be carried out confidently. all failing does is make me more determined!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

...practise makes perfect. Now 3rd time around you'll be able to do it in less time. :)
