Well, its that time of year again.

Car has done 18000 in 12 months, was shocked to see that, didnt realise i'd clocked up so many miles.

So besides my tyres being low all looks ok, horn will be fine if it dosent rain until sunday.

Question though, will it fail on my off side rear door not opening ?

There's no reason it should fail on the doors. It is not a safety issue for either passengers or pedestrians.

Best of luck!

Mine is up on Mon 22nd. Tyres and front suspension seem like the only things that'll need looked at.

Was giving it a check over last night and all under the front is 'clean as a whistle'.

18k is a fair few miles in a year, easily done mind, I probably average around 17-19k.

It's not that many. ;) I do about 15k to work alone in a year, then my 'personal miles' after that.

rear doors not opening is a fail because if there is a fire or other incident rear passengers cannot escape

translation: i know someone that passed, and their door was a **** piece but they opened on either side, inside or out. so don't worry about it.

which completely missed the point as that's saying his actually opened! oh dear...

i've had mine since end of august, early sept, so 7 months ish and the car had 27k on the clock when i got it, its now got 41k.... so 14k in 7 months ...???? I've got a 10 minute drive to work!!!!!!! where on earth do i clock up all these miles????? that's 24k miles a year! I put down 10k a year mileage on my insurance, i think i better own up....

i guestimated my milage would be 5000 a year so im over! but...... why own up? they dont ask for current milages when you insure it

Ive put 14k on mine in 13 months, with NO commute to work lol. I shudder to think what Ive spent on fuel... but its just sooo much fun to drive! :)
