Has anyone on here work or has access to a cnc cutter that could cut out some shapes in aluminium if given CAD drawings? wanting to get some bling in the engine bay only with a slight difference to whats avaliable at the moment :)

I have a couple of machine shops that I use who make the parts for our welding machines. If you have a dxf file, that would be useful. pm the details.

When you get them done, 2D I'll assume, let me know and I'll give you my email address and you can send the file. I'm back to work on Monday so can forward the file on as and when.

I too carry out 2D and 3D design work. Mostly 3D as it is easier especially when managing large assemblies. I use AutoCAD Inventor 2010. I have never imported jpegs into acad, never had the need as I always made stuff from scratch. Nice to know we have another resource handy.
