Just had a short letter back from the finance company regarding my car. They said"
"We can confirm that as per the Sale of Goods Act 1979 it would remain your responsibility to prove that the problems you have raised with the vehicle were present at the point of sale".
Back to trading standards I go... I thought the whole point was that under hire purchase I am covered over the length of the "hire"- it's like leasing something, if it goes wrong mid lease, they have to put it right- you don't have to prove it was like it when they gave it to you! What a load of crap.
