I remember looking at your car when I joined the forum and thinking 'Wow, I want a mkII' That's part of the reason I did my facelift. Shame you sold it, but I think I'd struggle with a 1.6, even though I've only got the 1.8.

looked amazing mate yet i can second that the 1.6 has sod all low end power, i remember pasting mine everywhere with a car full of people on road trips etc. still, commuting on my own itd give me an amazing 50mpg (when i wasnt glued at 90 on the outside lol)
