i am thinking of selling my zs180 but i don't really know what price i should be looking at.
it has no service history, 48k miles electric front and rear windows, new front pads and discs. small dent on bonnet and usual car park dents on the doors, scratches on rear bumper and the bolster is going on the drivers seat. about 5 months mot and no tax

thats the problem as the belts are due on the car and these can be £400 odd to do, i would say around the £1500,

TBH i would stick with it as they are worth pence at the mo amd not worth flogging

i think you been quite generous, without belts done shes defo worth around 1000-1500 quid max imo.

Less belts and no history, it'll be a risky purchase. If that were myself looking I would be expecting to pay around £1200. However I do not agree with the prices as they are stupidly low but alas that is how the market is at present, very sad. I'm in the same position as mine is worthless but I have decided to keep it regardless and track it. One day it may find itself off road permanently never to be road legal again.

i would hang on to it mate, its a nice looking car and sorry to say its probably worth more to you than a trade in or selling private...

well we're goingto try to keep it as it's worth so little, was thinking of getting rid as money is just so tight at the moment

If it helps, mine (2001 51 with 56K) has a (non-franchise) FSH and had the belts done. Body's not mint, but I paid £1315 two months ago.

I reckon I did really well as a buyer, but as a seller you may suffer.

Thing is though mate, someone may well come along. Service history is always iffy .... I could get hold of one for a few quid, and one of the guys on here sold his recently, although it was in pretty good condition apparently for about £2700 IIRC.

Put it up and see if you get any takers would be my advice. £12.99 for a classified for 28 days on ebay or for free on pistonheads.

Also depends ofcourse on what you need to get for it to make it worthwhile.

Good luck either way.
