Hi Guys, hope all is well :)
Not been on here much, been quite busy with other stuff
Well its an end of an Era for me, decided to move away from MG-R and go for something different.
Managed to pick up a Mk1 Octavia vRS for not much more then i sold the rover 25 for too. Very Solid car, no creaks inside, pulls nicely and overall feels superb :)

I do have a few plans afoot, but nothing dramatic, just going to concentrate on the performance side of things.
For those who are not familiar with this car, it is a 1.8 20v turbo, 180bhp stock, but this one has been tweeked a bit by previous owner, its got a Blueflame Exhaust system, pipercross induction kit, forge re-circ valve, remap and a few other things (im guessing its easily running over 200)

have a few plans - tints, coillies, FMIC, sports cat and then custom remap

Anyway il let the pictures do the talking

Doesn't have the looks of the ZS, but I'm sure it'll be quite a bit faster. All the best with it.

are you not getting heat soak with that filter, as turbo engine's run very very hot. my astra turbo lost around 6bhp on the rollers with a open cone filter on over the standard air box

:) despite the skoda badge, its all VW/Audi parts, very solidly built from inside, no rattles or anything inside.
very reasonably priced too imo thats why i was drawn towards them

you got rid of the prelude?

my mate had a golf gti, same engine, he had a carbonia induction kit on it, it was very good, took it from a cold fed area, very nice car mate would consider one myself, love those seats!

Your engine has somne serious potential too if you ever desire some more power, i bet its about 215 bhp as is.

yup the mk2 ZS sure is Sexier!
would have considered one but wanted to move away from the MG Rover scene really

Just been looking through the reciepts and the cars got a k04 turbo, meant to be a nice upgrade, and has had a remap....but im not happy with it, so will be investing in a FMIC and a few other bits before i go for a remap :)

i think its pushing out about 210-220 but need to get it RR'ed

Gotta love 'em!

I've only driven a Police issue mapped & modified beastie, so can't really comment on a standard one... I can however say that I couldn't stop smiling when I put my foot down ;)
