Wee update, nothing much has changed, up to 3800 miles since the rebuild and it's 4th oil change, running fuchs 15/50 ester synthetic oil in it now, seems to be doing the job so far anyway, sorted an annoying manifold blow and boost is much better now, properly fun car to drive, very good in the bends, suited to roads up here, zs felt a bit like it was on edge into some bends, but this even at 30 mph faster is still sticking like glue, never had anything that has felt like it on the roads, few niggles are the brakes still have a bit of a judder when they get hot, thinking either another disc has warped or the flange isn't quite right, and the rear shockers still knock at low speed, shall sort these at some point but just enjoying it as is at the koment, just about to go a trip up north with some steak pies on the turbo so touch wood we are okay

That's good news but you be careful on those 30mph faster bends, 4x4 sticks better but gives less warning (like none) before it lets go. When I worked for the local VAG dealer our sales director's brother in law rolled his S8 when it let go with no warning, smashed every window in the car and a salesman at the branch that sold imported scobbies and evos lost it, we don't know if he had any warning as he didn't survive to tell the tale but we do know the tree won.

Be careful out there.

Tbh it's not really getting driven in anger that much, although I had broke up with my missus last week and for anyone that knows the stockymuir....It was rather torn up after that, quite enjoy just cruising about in it, good on motorways with the torque,

Rule for bends -

If the vanishing point (the point where the nearside and offside kerbs meet) isn't moving, it's sharp. When the vanishing point is moving away from you as fast as you are moving, you're at the right speed.

All good. Enjoy, but be careful mate.

Glad your enjoying the scoob bud, cars wouldn't be our own cars if there was t a niggle somewhere we want to sort haha! Sorry to hear about you and your missus, all the best for the future.
