thanks dude, nice to know they've not forgotten about me

Just getting twitchy as nothing else can be done until the wheels are back on again

you want me to build an engine for it?

Drew

Maxxed_Ross 03-03-11 11:00 PM

what sort of engine?

Drew 04-03-11 05:21 AM

your going T turbo right? name the bhp you want to end up with and ill build it.

Drew

Maxxed_Ross 04-03-11 05:29 PM

yeah I am

aiming for 300ish bhp

Drew 04-03-11 06:05 PM

there are a few that will say 300 is ok on std internals. its not.

if you want to know it wont blow up everytime you go out, you would be wise to get some forged pistons. for ultimate reliability get a set of rods too.

costly, yes. reliable, yes.

that was the plan Drew. Forged pistons and rods, balanced crank, new AP Racing clutch, skimmed head and uprated gasket, polished head... possibly get it gas flowed depending on the cost.

Looking into getting a proper boost controller for it too

Combined with a set of modified S14 manifolds and a Garret T28R that should be quite nice

sound about right? I've no experiance with the T series so as always any help is appreciated

Drew 05-03-11 05:29 AM

you must have been reading up though, good selection so far.

head polishing is a no. porting is a yes.

very light skim on head and block to make them flat is all you need.

lightweight steel flywheel is nice for a relitivly small ?250ish?
