Interesting....well if you have it then lemme know and we'll go from there.

I've seen some tasty 4pots for a reasonable amount but might have to wait for payday.

In slightly annoying news Z&F can't help me via their postal service for my engine plans, just waiting on a cost from them and will have to tally things up but it might mean I'll have to fit the emerald earlier than expected.

Z&F are only up at Silverstone - take a day off work and go up there, you can enjoy the new map on the way back.

Aha, but I don't fancy driving the car up there with what I'm planning to do with a map that doesn't suit. So I'd have to factor in transporting the car up there in to my costs.

I have the cost now from Z&F, £249, so I may as well fit the emerald as that's pretty much the cost of a full rolling road session to get that properly mapped. :jump:

Does it have to be Z&F? Z&T will be at baginton 9/3 and are doing mapping for £200.

I'd not heard of Z&T before. Still the same issue though with travelling/getting the car there.

I think the best option will be to plonk the Emerald on and just take her to the rolling road round the back of Brands Hatch....see if I can get a discount for getting the MGB-K done at the same time

Sorry, it got sold in the parts clearance.:sorry:

So sloppy gear fix all done today along with replacing the boot stripes, can't thank Daz enough for supplying them they really set the car off in a subtle way.

I bought a Bluetooth OBD reader a week or so ago but only just got round to plugging it in yesterday and downloading Torque Pro for my phone. What a funky bit of kit, I'm very impressed and for the price it's a bargain, especially being able to read and clear fault codes!

More whoring of the photos...think the back needs to go up a bit more and a hopefully better shot of the stripes...
