Only thing I can think of is a light weight flywheel

Balanced bottom end, head rework, cams, single belt conversion...............

Update:

Just a quick note as I am very busy today!

Cambelt, 2x camshaft belts, water pump - DONE :D :smile2:

Having the cambelt done is a very big worry off my mind and one of the camshaft belts looked brand new and the other asif it was going to snap any second...

And no special tools used :) pics to follow later.

Another update, spent a further bit of time on it this evening. Rebuilt that entire side of the engine (cambelt side) Then fitted the new release bearing to the replacement gearbox, removed the clutch lever and greased it up as it was feeling a little stiff fitted it back in - gorgeous!

Tomorrow morning - 6.30am clutch and gearbox is going on :D

Then a few things need finishing, I've replaced the spark plugs so want to replace the filters at the same time and change the oil (its been a while now) - Then its time to start thinking about getting the engine back in. Woop! :smile2:

Good feeling when it comes together, especially when you have done the bulk of it. I've never had such luck, always done it myself with no assistance, girls don't like getting dirty.............you know what I mean! :sly:
