Id go to A&E...........When I had my smack I was OK, went to get checked out and got admitted for 3 days, with erratic heartbeat and double vision!!!

Sorry to hear this mate. Do get yourself to your local GP. You would be surprised what they can find after a shunt. Sometimes things can dwell for several weeks, even months before playing up. When I got rear ended in the Landy it didn't feel too bad but after getting checked as a matter of course they found I have sustained some neck and shoulder injuries. I got checked a couple of months later as I was getting back pains and it was due to the accident, the specialists found the smallest of things and attributed it to the knock. ?1200 later I did not complain, sometimes you have to play the game. However Kathy's write-off was more complex and they settled on a reasonable figure, in hindsight we should have left it for several months as she is still having knee trouble but as we settled we cannot claim anymore against this.
