The new Focus RS is well sweet, but IMO I will not pay £20k+ for it, when the last Focus RS came out I had a Focus and I wouldn't pay £20k for it then, the depreciation value is to great at the moment.

Anyway colours are: Electric Green, Black, Silver, Red and Performance Blue.

In all honesty... does it really matter what the tax bracket is? :)

Dont fancy paying the showroom tax on top of it though.

that's why I'm waiting untill they start showing up as ex-demo cars or pre registered

I'd imagine Ford being Ford they will cover the tax to tempt you into buying one

As for the reliability, my other half has a last shap Fiesta approaching 90k miles at 5 year old, and all that's ever gone wrong with that was the distributer about 20k miles ago... and that was an easy fix. The body is still sound and to be honest if it lasts 5 or so years I'll be happy. I'm not one to keep a car past a few years anyway!

+1, I lowered a one year-old Fiesta last year, and I kid you not, EVERY single bolt I touched was seized on and rusted. Will NEVER work on a Ford again, was an absolute nightmare.

Still wouldn't say no to owning an RS though :ninja:

Gotta say I agree, having said that though the O/H has a company car Focus and it feels really well put together and goes well for a 1.6 diesel. Trouble with it is that once you step out of it you struggle to find it again on a car park.
Personally I much prefer performance Fords of the past - Escorts, Capris, XR 4X4 etc

Loved my old Escort Sport
