Rear electric windows fitted
An update:
Fitted the rear electric windows kit from goldie today - all working as it should and looking smart. It appears that some ham fisted work has been done to the n/s/r door before as the interior handle was glued to the door card, apparently because the three clips that hold it to the door had been snapped off! Anyway had the replacement handle from goldie so after carefully freeing the old interior handle from the fabric with a stanley knife was all ok. There was also some similar sledgehammer work done to the centre console with a few clips snapped off but I've still got the console from my mk1 so in that went with the switches. As usual nothing is quite as simple as it should be with the zed but it's all part of being an MG owner and I love it :-D Tom |
Mon the XPG's :D
As pete as shown you can have a couplenof options apart from getting new door cards. His tweeter looks excellent, I went for chrome tap stoppers from B&Q inserted into the chrome bezels for the window winders that were surplus :) will get a pic in a tic |
I was lucky enough to find a mk1 in the scrapyard with them fitted as standard so no gaps for me :)

Nice car, would love to see some pics of the brakes, particularly the rears

Thanks for the replies and the pics pete & maxfly. I picked up a pair of TF tweeters from ebay for a couple of £ so I'll have a go at fitting them. Once the hole has been increased in size to accommodate the unit should be an easy fit.
I'll get some pictures of the brake setup sometime this week (probably the weekend) for those that are interested :) Tom |
