If its the manifold thats rattling changing the VIS will have no effect as it will be the butterflys that are rattling about due to the joints on the arm being worn. Mick had a good picture that illustrates this will try and find it.

wasnt too bothered tbh, either went or it didnt wasnt really in the way, both of them did have legitimate problems so not holding it against them, be nice to see it getting used for what i wanted it used for though

I got one at the local scrappy a few weeks ago for £60 and that was after they went on ebay to check prices - they are the sort of place who know their prices - turns out it had only been on the car for a couple of years as it has a date stamp of 2010.
