Any chance of a photo of the engine bay to show the leak?

It isn't unusual to reuse the cam cover gasket as it can keep cost down although best practice is to replace.

If its dripping onto the exhaust maifold nore likely cam seals, cam ladder, or cam cover. Exhaust manifold is above head level

the second pic is wher the oil seems to be sittitng whent back to the garage and they just said maybe a oil seal???

Cam cover seal I would say, there is an outside chance it could be a cam seal but I doubt it.
At least the cover seal is an easy fix

to make sure wipe the oil off, should be able to see where it's coming from.

looks like the rocker cover gasket does it not? mine's a 1.6 hatch and was like that when i bought it, new gasket £14 and gasket sealer £6 and its all fixed
