It was 13k when I bought my mk2 back in 2005, for which I paid 10k with 28 miles showing.

I got the feeling they might be selling it for a customer who refuses to accept what the car is actually worth.

I love that colour, but not worth that much, yellow seat inserts look a little out of place though..

the time its been sitting there the brakes will be needing replaced... along with most of the moving parts probably!

that garage is in partnership with the mg-rover dealer in brislington in bristol. they both over charge by a huge amount on the cars - they have come up a few times on most forums now.

i drive past it every time i head back to my folks, they always have a lot of stock of mg's and rover cos no one buys them at the price they ask!

I emailed them to ask why they are asking so much and they replied that is what the car is worth in the condition it is in!

It shall be there a long time I should think in the current climate!

Well, it's been there at least 4 years, and unless they put a more realistic price on it I have no doubt it will sit there for another 4 years.

Prehaps I should take my 120 there see if they will buy it off me :laugh:

Maybe they'd give you £7K in px ..... Just tell them that's what it's worth !!!
