Well ....

After shelling out ?40 on autotrader and getting a load of scam emails promising me ?7K if I provide my bank details to a guy on a ship off the coast of Nigeria via gumtree - cheers Pete - I got an email from a guy via Pistonheads last night.

Gave him a ring and half hour later he was still very keen and is driving down from Coventry this afternoon to confirm it's condition. He tells me that if it's as described he'll be leaving a deposit and collecting Saturday. He currently drives a 2.5 Zetec S Mondeo and reckons that my ST will save him money on fuel !

Keep your fingers crossed for me please.

Deposit paid and balance on Saturday in time for me to collect mine on Sunday.

Don't get me wrong - Great car - but costly and in todays climate i thought I'd have it for ages. Goes to show really - there are buyers out there for whatever car you've got to sell if it's in good nick.

totally agree mate, there was a gsi veccy totally mint with 70k and full vaux histroy and that lasted 3 days on my local garages forcourt.
