Tried to cure the rear bumper sag, got a good results in the end however I could do with a new rear bumper as sometime in its life the car has had a tiny knock enough to pop in the bumper on one corner (which I had realised ages ago).

Made some support brackets to replace the plastic ones MGr used and Rimmers want £80 for (only used one ofcourse).

The bumper support bracket for the drivers side are £80 ye.

I also adjusted the mounts under the rear lights adding foam pads and bending them upwards.

I'm sorry but this won't cure the issue of sagging clips, you should have cut the retaining plastic clip between the washer and the bodypanel in the pic.

Those brackets looks very good by the way, where are they from and how did you bend them ?

It has helped as the plastic retaining clips on the side brackes pull tighter to the body, but when I replace the rear bumper I will adapt my methods to see if it helps as after doing this I thought it could be improved.

I made them from ali using a pillar drill, a bench vice and bent then by hand in the vice.

Been a while but I've done a few little things including completing my dash lighting and finally remembering to get pictures when its dark.

Green and Purple of course!

The heater dials are brighter in person and the switch on lights are more purple to.
