Hi Jay. I love that!!

Are you Jayhowl on ebay selling the mil kits?

daytona365 19-02-11 03:45 PM

Glad you put pics back up. I like the wheels, the x-power decals are loud, but what the hell. I drive a bright yellow ZS. If we all liked the same cars the world would be boring. We drive ZS's cos they different. Cant wait to see it for real some day...

ZS 19-02-11 03:47 PM

dude, where did you get the upper front and upper and lower and rear strut braces from? and how much were they? oh and do they make any difference??

I got stick with the red coach stripe on my brg 180 but now I have the black alloys with red rims it actually works haha.

That works really well. Have you got more pics of the car on here?

The dials are really easy to do. Slide over the needles. Takes less than half an hour if you have ever taken the clocks out of any rover or MG before!

Bobdope2002 19-02-11 03:48 PM

See it wasnt that hard it's not a bad looking motor you've got they're.....why did u choose to put the induction thing they're as opposed to the front end???

Jay-ZS+ 19-02-11 03:49 PM

Like the dials, very nice. Looks like you have a few nice mods and more to come :)

Thanks. I love yellow cars. I had a banana yellow Fiat Coupe turbo and the missus had an even brighter Seicento Sporting! In a town with no yellow cars they stood out something chronic!

Limited access to the front. Couldnt see a good route to the front grill with the rad in the way so I mounted it there instead. I plan to MK2 the front end some day so its not too much of a problem if it doesnt work too well

Rear upper was a honda one with modified brackets, and lower is a honda item slightly modified. Cant remember how much they cost but it was something like ?30 each off eBay. Not paying Motobodges silly prices!

Well I didnt drive the car too hard before they were fitted as I wanted to get the belts done first but I can tell you that the car is incredibly tight at the back end and it gives you real confidence, although have had lift off oversteer in the wet, not too bad though, so I suppose it does. Cant wait to do a trackday now!

coreygraham180 19-02-11 04:06 PM

I think the car looks superb mate and if you do the t16 or the supercharger route the site will assays be able to help

Bobdope2002 19-02-11 04:13 PM

Thanks mate. Like the fact theres a lot of info on the site.

I see your 6R4 pic. Do you have one?? I always loved them. I use a 6R4 on Dirt 2 multiplayer and leave all the STIs and Evos in the dust. Fantastic handling and brakes!!

Not with the wheels on... but I have a thread in the project section with old pics, when it stops sodding raining and being pants it will get cleaned again and I will get pics up.

I bought a MIL kit from you last may or june, soon after I got the car.

Dunno if you remember but when I received it the wires had gone and all that was there were the spade connectors but I returned them to you and you sent me the full kit at no further expense and I was very pleased with the service so many thanks for that

Thanks mate. Glad someone does lol

Gachet180 19-02-11 10:03 PM

That doesn't work for me, the graphics look cheap and tacky and the induction setup is one of the most ridiculous things I've ever seen since an Evo III that had the exhaust comming out of the same place.... A decent set of tyres would be my priority over any of the other planned mods.

greenyzs180 19-02-11 10:12 PM

i to have made a vent at the near same postion but bit more forward as same as noticed better drivability, car looks nice but bit to many stickers for me,more the stealth look, how did you or were did you get the short shift?i remember cutting my mini stick many years ago for a shorter shift so not shore if that what you done, loving the dials so a really nice mg in my eys!:)

Andyf 20-02-11 10:57 AM

Looks nice mate, love the dials and white wheels. I'm tempted to put those MG logos on my spoiler.

Thanks. The short shifter was from Motobuild. I don't normally like buying things from them and there are cheaper shifters on ebay but my friend with a Civic bought a cheap one on ebay and it snapped in half so I thought Id pay a bit more to make sure it was better quality.

Maxfly 20-02-11 12:14 PM

I quite like that CAF tbh, wonder if you could fit summat round the intake to quide more air into it? Sure you can get something simliar for the F air vents. Thought bh I doubt it would make that much of a difference. Just square up your exhaust and all will be good:D Decals dinna look too bad tbh but I don't like the wheels, but then I dislike all white wheels lol:D

KevG 20-02-11 02:38 PM

Car looks good, but the graphics and CAF are a no, no, other than that you have very nice Mk1

When it comes to being ridiculed on here it is part and part of being here, thats what makes this forum slightly better then others, enjoy your stay here.

Nice looking car, get some mesh over the intake or you'll find some lad stuffing potatoes in it!
