The SRS light was an issue even though I have no airbags and only one seatbelt left...........so he had to give it a fail on that basis, new tester as well. So over the weekend the soldering iron will be out and doing its thing. It'll be sorted for next Weds when I should be able to get it back to the garage. First time it's had a refusal since new which ain't bad for a 13 year old motor.

I thought an SRS light that didn't light up with the ignition is a fail? If anyone can prove otherwise I'll hook it out! Time to look out the standards.

If you remove the SRS ECU and the bulb and remove the airbag from the dash and passenger seat (or tape over the markings on them) so you have disabled the system completely I would have thought it should pass.

Currently I have fitted resistors to fool the system. |
In that case I would defiantly disconnect the ECU and remove the bulb.

That looks superb Pete.
On another note I have fixed the SRS light issue, it was a poor connection on the drivers airbag, cut off the socket, soldered resistor and all's good. MOT Weds hopefully. |
Cheers Mick
