Not an issue then?? Or is it signs on the manifold slowly on it way again??
|
No - any excess vapour from the fuel tank is absorbed into the carbon granules in the cylinder, this vapour is then released into the inlet manifold in a controlled manor, it is doing what it should.

All the K series cars have the system but it seems that as the KV6 runs higher fuel pressure so produces more vapour when fuel is pumped back to the tank.

UPDATE:
So the yellow peril (its new name ;) ) is once again ready to be let loose round knockhill. since last time it now has its (Zred) decat fitted and what a grunt it has now ha! it is needing one exhaust clamp on the backbox as its starting to blow and rusting away but apart from giving the brakes a once over and checking levels, we are good to go this Sunday coming. sitting hiding in the dark awaiting race day. http://i200.photobucket.com/albums/a...psc2fa6605.jpg so here is hoping the weather turns good, and we manage to get a full days action from it! :-D |
Good luck!
