Good find Steve. And liking the the carbon wrap trim, gives it a much more modern look then the dated black oak.

The old 400 saloons used to have a liner on the inside of the boot lid. A victim of project drive, if you can find one being broke.

i did think if the early 400's had a boot lid liner :D looks like a scrap yard visit tomorrow :beer2:

I'm not 100% on if the 400 ever had a boot lid liner, I've never seen one.

Had a look and can't see it on here either. I remember someone telling me they got one off an old 400 saloon in a scrap yard though?

Yeah, it's odd, i can't find anything on Rimmers, but I've heard people saying 400s had them, maybe it was really early 400s, project drive started in the 90's post BMW taking over, so the liner could have been one of the first victims.
