How are you going about the cruise set up?
Taken from the 190?
If it's possible and workable I'm gonna strip a 190 lol.
But by all accounts even retrofitting from cdti ZT to Cdti ZT is difficult.

The kit is coming from a 45 v6! its auto though, but anything is possible :)

Ahh cool!
Not many of those about!

Yeah I guess it's finding where the kit fits into the auto and going from there.

In the ZT in sure they take a reading from one abs speed sensors (rear in fwd) and there is a plug in to do with it re the cruise ecu.

I wish you luck with your endeavour! Hopefully it works and there is a viable oem cruise option.

The ZT uses the same components as the 45 for cruise but they are wired differently.

The speed signal is supplied to the cruise ECUs from the ABS ECU.

The cruise ECUs are programmed to suit the engine so you may find that the 45 system isn't ideal as the engine is 20% smaller.

Good luck with this, I tried and gave up on my mk1 as I had a mix of 45 and ZT parts and couldn't get it to work.

Small update.

Will be coming off the road at the beggining of March for her stripdown and FULL respray. If its going to be done, then why not do it right!

Iv been collecting bits and bobs and will shortly have her dash bulbs red/white. Roof etc all done in black alcantara. Iv got some chrome door sills to go on aswell.

Only thing im really struggeling to find is original Bodykit fixings! For small piecies of plastic theyr doing my head in!

I've got a bag of the little plastic yellow and white pop clips that do the arch pieces. Not sure if they do the rest.
Managed to track some down last year for my arch. They needed cut down but did the job.
I'll have to have a look and see if I can find them now as they'll be buried.
