Right guys, finally went to Maryhill and got the car backfrom M and L Coachbuilders, i have brought it back home and parked it up, i have taken some images for you all to have a look at and tell me what you think,
looking quite nasty fi the ootside mate, has anybody had a look at it,anybody said how easy it would be
there are pictures of the outside as well aint there?
yeah mate,a posted to quick,ye must have just been uploading them
no one has had a look yet, i thought that the quarter panel would be replaceable but looks like its not the case, so unless it can be battered out from the boot and then pulled a little and straightened then it might be only good for parts which is a bloody shame, but if i can bring it back frm the dead again i will

Sorry to read this.
It's difficult to tell from the pictures but I suspect the whole back of the car is twisted, the boot floor looks distorted, the N/S inner wheel arch looks damaged as well. Does the car still drive, does it go in a straight line? Does the boot shut? Does the drivers side passanger door function correctly? Is there any distortion to the roof? The quote for repair would suggest the car needs jigging. Have you actually bought it back from the insurance yet? |
