iirc its the base of the legs?!?! There is one on here that has it fitted and think the orginal mod was done by a previous owner either on zscentral or xpf...not sure if there is a how to but positive there was a description of what had to be done to get it to fit:)

Here's a link to pics from the current owner WXMMatty:)

No mate, I think it is more the 'feet' that are attached to the bootlid, they need shortened as are too long and would hange over either the front or rear edge if you just fitted it:)

lawrence-zs180 10-01-11 07:20 PM

ahhhhh lol ok dude cheers
er sorry for nicking your thread haha

Nae bother bud lol, anytime:D

Today i headed throught to Dreadnought in Callander to pick up my new stoppers from Luti, he was out but his Dad got me the discs and kindly showed me round the workshop, very impressive is all i can say. Didn't take any pics as well, I was getting a quick show about and felt whpping out the camera might have been a bit rude:)

Anyways got home and decided to fit them, paint the calipers and add my decals, and have fitted the front flaps, will do rears and arch liner the morrow as it is too wet and i need a beer:D

lawrence-zs180 11-01-11 04:47 PM

yay puddle dodging lol

Steves Cleenz 11-01-11 04:49 PM

I would personally point the CAF downwards as the hole on the inner wing lets water straight through into there and you dont want your feed filling with water

lawrence-zs180 11-01-11 06:52 PM

cheers for the help and pics andy... not to sure about the bottom one haha.

where did the post go????

coreygraham180 11-01-11 06:55 PM

It is now, noticed after i took the pic that it could be angled better also put a wee hole in the lowest point to let any water that does get in, out:)

Cheers bud, the initial frenzy of getting stuff on is nearly done and everything else will just be as and when:)

Took it out for a spin tonight, fecking love it. Goes brilliantly and am very surprised at the amount of induction roar i can hear, certainly a lot more pronounced that the black one ever was. Getting used to the brakes, seem to need a fair bit of heat before they have decent bite but do not know what they are but they certainly do stop me. Will probably still give a quick bleed to be sure.

Stephen 11-01-11 10:37 PM

Looking good Gary. :-)

Think he is meaning the hatch spoiler discussion earlier bud:)

Maxfly 17-01-11 10:25 PM

Few more wee jobbies done:) Got bumper sag/bulge fix done today which has the added benefit of stopping any water getting in the bracket locating points, sealed up the other usual suspects for letting in water too:) Bumper sitting a lot better now but broke that crappy bracket that sits in the o/s arch lol. Dropped the alloys off at Chameleon for refurbing, plumped for silver with the sparkle through it as the chops caled did settled it for me although Grimmy's idea of black with gold sparkle was severly temtping tbh, pick them up next Monday:D
Also upgraded my fogs as the yellow light looked poor with leds and hids fitted elswhere, comparison shot below, notice differnce better in the flesh though. An new black and chrome badge on too:)
http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a3...0/943f11f2.jpg

The alloy rings for the speedo arrived today to but I didn't want the same carbon trim i had before and the aluminium one just imo would look ****. Seeing as i still had amethyst paint left from interior job on dead zed thought i would paint the instrument surround this time instead, very pleased with the result and still love amethyst, think it will be covering a few more bits and pieces in the future:D

Definately worth lacquering bud, looks god when lights hits it, love the purple that comes oot with amethyst, you wheels do look cracking tbh was a close called thing:D

Ritchy 17-01-11 10:55 PM

i dont think gold n black would look good on 11 spokes, the silver sparkle will look amazing in the sun trust me

i like the matt finnish actually on mine, i think it was ford galaxy grey or summit, still has metalic bits in it so it shines, show you some time

Maxfly 05-02-11 06:07 PM

Well alloys now refurb'd, bumper brackets fitted so it is now nice and secure an doesn't flap about:) an got stuck in about the paintwork so it has now been clayed, which was much needed the amount of crap that came off was scary! Then buffed out some of the scratches before a polish and a wax:)
