NO DPF, and can even blank the EGR so not even got that to worry about.. nice and agricultural...

They are not quiet or smooth compared to a modern diesel lump - but are simple and pretty bullet proof when you dont overly molest them (like me)

She does sound good from the back end but the td engine in the front is fairly noisey.

I only do about 3000 miles a year mostly town driving. I had a BMW 325i se before and the only reason i changed to the ZS TD was because of running cost ie fuel and tax. I get much better running costs now and a decent amount of power now the engine has been tuned.

beansontoast 16-07-13 05:08 PM

somewhere in the region of 84k, although my replacement clocks say 67k (never ever play with speedo needles again)

TonyK7ng 16-07-13 05:18 PM

Haha I had same problem with my van.
It had 172,000 on the clock then the speedo stopped working so got one on eBay.
It was amazing it was like a new van, only had 26,000 on the clock haha

The ZR is 43k ('52 plate).
The MGF is at 40k (1999).

Mines on 79K, but a 0 mile a week commute lol.

mattie007 01-12-13 04:57 PM

Clocked 97500 today. Always said I'd get a new car when I hit 100k but it still drives great!

ZS Phil 01-12-13 05:08 PM

Nearly 133,000 in my TD. Shes got 67 more horsepower and 120 ft lbs more torque than the day she left the factory over 11 years ago.
Like the mallard, not too tight and not too loose, just right ;)

Din 07-12-13 05:44 AM

Mine was 100000, but I'm running 420 clocks now which are on 109000, doesn't really matter anyway lol.

60k on mk1 180, am getting a little tempted by switching to a 350z next year, not the most practical car but man they are quick in a straight line and round the corners.

foggy 08-12-13 01:08 PM

160,000 on my zs180. its still the same head gasket and so far I have had no major problems with the engine.
