portapower or a bit of straingtening with a mallet and get dents away on the wing dent
|
have a look at the threads steve has put up on the forums from when he repaired the same damage to his typhoon 180 bud, hints and tips there. Help you de3cide if you gonna rescure the old girl:) Have to say it would be a shame to see her go but the choice is yours :)
|

hire a porta power, makes it so much easier, if you can, make a brace that goes across the strut mounts or what ever you push off gets dented (did on mine lol) i was pushing off the bit under the rear shelf, or if the porta power comes with the clamps, then clamp it from where the bumper attaches with the plastic clips, chain it to a tre and drive off slowly, you will be suprised at how soft the backend is, but always start from where the main impact was, and if pushing with the porta power go about an inch and half further than what it suppose to be, as once you take the porta power off then the metal will spring back, shame you dont live closer as i would give you a hand and get get hold of a porta power
EDIT**** looking at the photo again you will probally be better off pulling it rather than pushing it, even if you can weld a bolt on to pull off will be good |
how much is it to hire one of these portapower things, just get them from a local hss store or that
|
local hire shop should do them, as for price, i dont know

update

the slabs make an excellent replacement spoiler
looks good apart from the lid youd never know really |
Have the creases moved at all on the rear quarters? What about the door shut gap? Looks like it could go the same way as Steve's did, very well!
|
Think I prefer the extreme spoiler to the paving!! Doesnt look too bad, looks fixable. New boot lid and bumper and your half way there!
