The pointlessness of it stops me putting it on mine. However I might just get remote start. Got that on the Scirocco and its lovely on a cold morning getting in a nice warm car.
Where are people putting their start buttons?

lovely motor first of all!!! some start buttons have put where the ciggie lighter was, others in front of the gear lever. I want one too, had one in the zr to me it's a must have gimmick!! Even cars that come with start buttons usually have to have the key in the ignition e.g. civic. You don't need it, but then really you don't need a lot of things cars have nowadays! Leccy windows? why, my arms works fine, rains sensing wipers....i can tell when there is rain on the windscreen ta very much!! :D:D

The 3 places i have seen people put the start buttons are:-

- In the ciggy lighter (i like this one best as when you close the ash tray it's hidden)
- down on the flat piece of the centre console between the gear lever and the little pocket
- to the left or right of the steering wheel in one of the blanks.

Thanks for posting the pic smokey, good place to put it and saves drilling big holes in your plastic! Pic shows what a good job you've made of painting the trim as well, might be another mod on the list for me...:hmmm:
