Yay!! The weather held out and i managed to get out to the old girl!! After stripping the skid-pan out and locating and removing the offending lambda sensor i cut and crimped the cables!! I had to guess on two of them as they were both cut and both white!! What a stupid colour coding!! I re-fitted the sensor and reset the engine management light, started her while still on the ramps and nothing bad happened. So i taped up the joints, re-fitted skid-pan and tidied up!! Got it off the ramps and took her for a quick drive. So far so good, no lights have come on the dash so i think i've sorted it!!

1 question though, what would happen if i got the 2 white cables round the wrong way?????

Good work, no idea on the wires, guess it doesn't matter if both the same.
