What car?

I've worked out that after I've finished this contract offshore in about 4 months time I'll have enough cash to buy the ZS I've been after for ages. :happy2:

There's a couple of Ignition Blue 180's on Autotrader just now, but which one looks best?

http://atsearch.autotrader.co.uk/www...earch_full.y=5

I'm after the saloon so it's either the 2005 3rd from the bottom or the 2006 one at the end

Is the 2006 worth the extra cash?

Also how much would I be looking at to fit the xtreame spoler to the 2005 one as it doesn't have one

cheers in advance! :smile2:

Well i would say those cars will have gone in 4months so best to look when you have finished the time.

yeah I know, but I was wondering now lol

I'm bored, it's a very slow day at work

Remember Ross, I 'll blag the alcantara interior :police:

Ross, I assume that you are aware that the link that you posted includes your post code...

Maxxed_Ross 31-07-07 11:46 AM

yeah but luckily the postcodes in Falkirk are a bit weird, put my postcode into a route finder and it starts no where near my house!

Yeah I'm remembering... but I'm keeping it if it's blue - I like the blue :cool2:

I would sat the newer one is too expensive, should be nearer
£9k

I do believe they are somewhat optimistic with their pricing of the last one there! Who is going to pay that price?

Maxxed_Ross 31-07-07 02:11 PM

Yeah but they expect a bit of haggling.

I've got alot on my side though, no trade in and paying cash so should be able to knock it down a bit

picking up my zs180 hatch tonight and i got them down to £6500 with full year tax a new mot, network Q vauxhall cheacks and 3 month warrenty oh and 1 weeks free insurance... so ok
they wanted £7000 and its a 54 plate if that helps you

watch the 2006 registered one as it will probably be in the governments new high tax band £300 this year rising to £400 next year.

For that reason i would go with a slightly older one as the road tax will only be £205

i would look around as my brother picked up a 55 reg ignition blue 180 with the alacantara interior for £6800, the prices are all over the shop at the moment but if you do see a cheap one get it, have you had a look on www.pistonheads.com ? always a bargain on there, but i am sure there is a bloke that comes to the midlands meet with an ignition blue 180 that is thinking on selling his one.

good grief!!! That's put me right off :rip:

stamford 05-08-07 11:15 AM

I must admit I did not give the tax issue a thought, but what a rip off! Onwards of 23rd March 2006 it is indeed expensive! All for a miserly 002g/km over the limit too.

georgiansoccer 05-08-07 03:15 PM

just get a facelift one registered before 23rd March 2006 and you will be fine
