That car looks Strangely familiar :hmmm:

Smokey 09-07-13 11:34 AM

Dan's old one.... I'm assuming 100,000 miles?

stamford 09-07-13 12:08 PM

Yes, was Dan's plus another.

POMPSKI 09-07-13 04:16 PM

Might find it just needs a bracket ;)

stamford 09-07-13 05:17 PM

If original clutch then it's done well at 100k, mine gave up at around 90k.

talkingcars 09-07-13 05:24 PM

Looks like it's still outside Dans?

talkingcars 09-07-13 05:30 PM

Not a new picture - http://www.saxperience.com/forum/sho...d.php?t=281126

petet16 09-07-13 05:48 PM

Well, from the 3 pages of comments I think we can safely say that Saxo owners know f**k all squared about MG's :)

vanishing days 09-07-13 05:58 PM

think its safe to say they know **** all about anything

BTCCZS 09-07-13 06:34 PM

Was thinking exactly the same!

POMPSKI 09-07-13 06:37 PM

Well that was an interesting read

Enright 09-07-13 07:01 PM

What a bunch of illiterate, ignorant chavs.
Every stereotype you can think of about Saxo drivers appears in that thread before you even get 10 posts in!
Look - they can hardly even string a sentence together between them!!!
Oh well, at least it's 3 years ago - I wonder how many of them have grown up a bit, or have now scattered to hoon about in other chavmobiles... :yikes:

But boy do they have great taste in avatars! That Cupra-Craig's avatar is particularly distracting.

That's a good read actually .... some funny stuff on there but then someone with a bit of knowledge puts them straight. Great avatars on there though ...

That image is of my old one, outside my house, but it's not for sale - pm'd the current owner who's on here and he confirmed. It's just some image theft from google.

daytona365 09-07-13 09:10 PM

They are a sad bunch..............Remember when the Saxo was still in production, in my days at the Citroen garage...........You needed a english to brainless phrase book when they asked for anything lol.........

I reported the ad to Gumtree.

Steven11 10-07-13 07:33 AM

To be fair there were 1 or 2 people that seemed to know what they were talking about (sir dave & campdavid) for example. I love the fact he told them all they were talking bollocks :clap:

Adam 180 V6 10-07-13 08:51 AM

Just facepalmed at that saxo forum

gibbzy2k1 10-07-13 09:00 AM

I like post No. 4. "Definatly not. Its one of many cars i would class as chav." about a ZS on a saxo forum... really? I nearly spat my tea over the screen laughing so hard.

Some of them knew about the ZS and the rest look through rose tinted specs at Saxos!! Having spent 5 year's working in a Citroën main dealers as chief tech I can honestly say I've never worked on any make of car that are worse built than a Citroën, the Saxo is the worst model they made as it attracted the worse owners imaginable!
