i picked up a front splitter from him today as there only 25 mile from me and its not the best fit but with a bit of tinkering it will look ok

Looks/sounds similar to the motobuild stuff

Unless you are going for weight saving or something I would get an original bumper.
Thin fibreglass resin bumpers are never a direct fit due to the way the resin moves as it hardens so you will always need to do a bit of tinkering to make it fit. Also theres the strength issue. You can give a standard bumper a damn good whack and not expect any damage, whereas thin fibreglass bumpers take little more than a slight catch on a speed hump or something to crack or even snap them. I had a CRX with a fully moulded front end and cracked the join where it meets the wing, and took a massive chunk out of the centre section, just by clipping a slightly ajar manhole cover! It was a flip paint so was so much hassle to do that I decided I never want those type of bumpers again. Quote:

The shipping and terms of service were clearly copied from another advert then modified to suit. Then he obviously decided to do the 'About Us' bit by himself!! If that's the quality of the advert imagine the quality of the product!!! |
if it was the option of my mk2 getting wrote off bcus i cudnt find a bumper i think id defo buy one of these
Thing is this guy isnt motobuild so i cant understand how you can compare the two people |

Personally, I would buy from Chris Willnot for panels that need prepping for replacing anyway, just not panels that I wanted to put straight on the car! |
spose ya right but does that guy have a constant supply of parts for all the Zeds that are getting wrote off for nothing
|
He has a nice Mk2 grill which might be on my shopping list very soon :D

He often throws up things like MK2 wings with the vents which is something I was after a while ago, and these are usually quite hard to get as a pair. Some people have had problems with panels from him not being totally as described, but as said before if they need prepping before fitting it isnt usually a problem. |

Took that pic ages ago when I first bought grille - changed it to B+W as the grille was XPG and cars TB! Actually got around to stripping it and spraying it a few weeks ago: http://i187.photobucket.com/albums/x...315/007-14.jpg |
