A quick question that needs a quick reply please
 
Hi guys just a quick question that needs a quick answer im afraid. Im after a k series head for my mums r25 wer 400's ever fitted with the honda or wer they all k series? And a k series head from a 400 will b the same as one from a 25 wont it? theres 1 on ebay but i thin the sellers a gorm. I asked him if it was from a k series or honda and is it for a 1.6 and his reply was its from a rover 400 lol so helpful

IIRC i dont think the Honda engine was fitted to the 400

And i couldnt see why the 400 head wouldnt fit a 25 as theyre basically the same engine i think

the 1.4 and 1.6 also IIRC are pratically the same engine but the bored were slightly dofferent

now hes saying its a 1.6 but not a k series (so not from a 400) just found out on wiki that 400's wer never fitted with honda so you wer also right

the honda engine was fitted to the Square shaped 400's not the bubbles

Some Rover 400's were fitted with the Honda engine, but the Honda heads and K series engine are totally different to each other

the k series head for the 1.4,1.6 and non vvc 1.8 are the same, no idea about 1.1, and the honda engines are SOHC and complely different.

if its a rover 25 you will need the head from an EU3 spec engine,combined coils,no distributor and cam sensor.
bubble 400's maintained the Honda D series for the automatic only until the intro of the 45

lol which means? lol. I thought any k series thats 1.4 or 1.6 and of the same year would be the same be it from a 400 or 25 ect

My 1997 T Plate Bubble 400 has a Honda Engine!
