Keep seeing it and wanting it. Hes dropped the price 200 quid in a few days. Gotta be worth much more in parts.

BUCKYDEVIL 06-07-10 05:53 PM

Anyone local want to help me purchase this and possibly do up or break ?
Could pitch in.

" no log book but ?25 will be taken off the price"
Going to see it tommorrow anyhow and then maybe get it checked out.

BUCKYDEVIL 06-07-10 06:32 PM

What is date of liability ??

ThumpJunkie 06-07-10 06:39 PM

When the tax is next due bud.

If I had ?100 I'd chip in, don't even have 100p :(

BUCKYDEVIL 07-07-10 05:02 PM

Seen the 180 with Stephen today and bad points are some scuffs and scrapes with loose door handles and a blowing exhaust.
Good points are it drives well with not many miles on the clock and clean interior.
A great option for this car would be a joint owner track car for forum members.
I had the guy phone me back tonight and believe we could get this for ?500
anyone interested in some cheap forum track day fun ?

Stephen 07-07-10 06:07 PM

As Marcus has said, we both saw the car today:)

heres some pics.

Spot on Kev, that's where it is. It was a police seizure from driver with no insurance.
Grimmy don't have any problems why you can't have seats
if 5 of us put in .
Just need 2 more to thrash and trash this ?

KevG 07-07-10 09:20 PM

Is there not places that can insure vehicles for very limited periods ?
One day insurance ? On the day the car is to get to knockhill or place of storage.

Just had a very quick look and could insure a rover 45 or one day for the grand total of ?25 so if it blows up its your the insurance for the day plus the cash for the breakers to take it away i am guessing.

Ritchy 07-07-10 11:00 PM

breakers would give you 60 for it easy and pick it up

BUCKYDEVIL 07-07-10 11:03 PM

If it broke down on track we could tow it away and use my breakdown cover.
I'm at work just now but will try and find out about single day insurance tomoro.

Maxfly 08-07-10 09:38 AM

grimmy 08-07-10 11:06 AM

Tony10 08-07-10 02:00 PM
