Horn ....
.... didn't work on the way home from work ....
Any ideas ? ........... And I don't mean how to make a loud noise to warn other road users of my presence ..... |

not the sounder that does the horn,
the horn sits behind the front bumper and the original horn was pretty poor, first thing id do is check the fuse, if its okay go to the horn remove it and try power it off the battery, if you **** your pants when you touch the wires onto the battery then horns not the problem, if nothing need a new horn, if horns okay check for power at the connector for the horn, test lamp and someone pressing the horn, |

The horn on my car has died, but it isn't the factory one it is the secondary Hi tone horn from a 420 that is intermittent, even though the factory horns were crap and failed mine is still going after 7 years!!!

I went through two horns due to water ingress, i ended up getting a PIAA twin tones and fitted em further back out of harms way
