Insurance Renewed Today!

Well today i had to renew my car insurance on the ZS, so went through all the price comparrison sites and cheapest i could get anywhere was with Bell insurance and it cost me £381.47 for the year :D

Not too bad considering I was over £1000 on my ZR.

Maxxed_Ross 13-11-07 03:18 PM

phone them direct and it'll be even cheaper, comparison sites bump it up a bit then take a cut

sduk 13-11-07 03:21 PM

yeah i called them after, thats the best i could get by a mile. :D Well happy, beats paying over £100 per month!!!

Maxfly 13-11-07 03:26 PM

amazing what difference a few years and different areas make to prices! over a grand for the zr, phew thats a lorra lorra money:ninja:

sduk 13-11-07 03:28 PM

yup, cos it was modified aswell, plus i now have another years no claims bonus and am a year older :D

gonna make a difference every month not having to pay that!

Maxxed_Ross 13-11-07 03:56 PM

my ZR was £750 all mods declared, but then again you live in scumdee :joker:

arwilson80 13-11-07 03:58 PM

I checked mine not that long ago and the cheapest i was getting as a quote was.... £800! 25, 3 years NCB, and only 3PP which they told me they make no difference for.

How come it's so High for me, I'm 40 next march, have 127 years NCB or something like that , and I am both ADI and Rospa advanced driver trained, and I still pay 460. I think it's cause I am married to one of the women from the Sopranos.

grimmy 13-11-07 05:25 PM

georgiansoccer 13-11-07 06:08 PM

what you all want to do is move somewhere away from the trenches..... like up here! i can get a quote of approx £370 for a 180, i am 27, 9 year ncd, 1 no fault accident and owning your home drops it too!! Get jealous y'all :D

stamford 14-11-07 07:27 AM

My 180 is just over the £300 mark :p fully comp, all mods declared, max NCB with a no fault accident in the last three years :D having the wife on mine makes no difference, so I didn't put her on it! The last company gave me a discount!

KevG 14-11-07 07:52 AM

Mines is £485 fully comp, protected NCB, with road rage cover too...., and that's with 1 yours NCB from previous insurer, and that is with the wife on it too.

mrt_04 14-11-07 08:12 AM

Mine is £455 with full no claims, NCB & legal cover. Tesco.com...ZS180 Mk.2. Due up in April, so will shop around. :jump:

sduk 14-11-07 12:02 PM

well would you beleive it, just out of interest I did a quote on a ZS 180, just used www.confused.com and the cheapest offered was by Elephant and was....

£679.35!!!!!

Shame it would cost me a fortune in running costs due to the amount of miles I do, certainly will keep it in mind for the future :)
