now that would look stunning! Stevie was tempted to get one, i wonder what he will say when he sees it. i think they are pretty rare in coming up for sale.

It can be done but you would need to cut the front wings to fit the sharks gills . Not for the faint hearted!! And the bumpers would need to MK2 versions as well.

would be worth it tho! even a mk1 with the mk2 bumper extensions would be awesome!

I had comtemplated doing the oval hotrod conversion, steel wings extensions and side sills, gives it the really agressive look, but then added up the cost of wider rims and thought better of it!

A guy called "Action Al" on XPF did this to his MK1 hatch. He had the MK2 rear bumper plastic welded to cover the recess for the number plate as he had decided to maintain the MK1 hatch. Nice job too.

why does the stuff that im loking for always turn up before i get paid id easily pay 150 quid for that little lot would even keep the mk1 bumpers and get them modded to the arches and then smoothed in a proffesional job would probably cost around 600 qud to get done and i would go to auto image in bonnyrigg as there was a few of his cars at f+m would look good with my mk2 boot lid and large spoiler i have in the garage

sduk 16-07-07 10:54 PM

Only if you want them to be functional, which lets face it they dont do much even when they are. On many of the cars which had them as an option, or at least dealer fitted, they just stick on over the current wings.
