Couple of Small Jobs Done Today.

Just gonna be tidying up the ZS and doing all the little things ive been meaning to do for a while.

So today I went to B&Q and bought some small nuts, bolts and washers for my heatshields. Got the chrome set to match and tightened them on so they are now nice and secure, far better than the old self tappers i had.

Then I fitted mg MG TF Chrome Heater Rings to the interior. I like these, nice and subtle but just give it a nice finishing touch :)

try getting chrome surround for the gaitor too....also I saw on another forum some german ZS with chrome around the leccy window switches and the tweeters near the wing mirrors...surely they would be official part numbers for them?

sduk 16-09-07 12:36 AM

i have looked before for the gaitor chrome surround. couldnt find it, would complete the set nicely :)

icancu 16-09-07 05:48 PM

Those rings just a standard part from a TF? How much were they... just an Ebay jobbie?

sduk 16-09-07 05:51 PM

All this extra weight can't be doing your power to weight ratio any good !!! ;)

sduk 16-09-07 06:01 PM

hehe what power! (just thought id say it before someone else did hehe)

its all about the style :D altho tbh compared to any other car i have owned, my ZS is alot more powerful so does me fine :)

Mission 16-09-07 06:11 PM

Will those chrome heater rings fit the MKI dash!????????

Mat C 16-09-07 06:12 PM

Only jesting Sammy, what your car lacks in power you make up for it in style !
