Better off going for a cheap cone in an inner wing set up.
Don't think you are gonna release much with just the panel filter as the whole setup is restrictive not the filter :) |
I dont what to do a wing set up as in the winter I got lot off puddles down my road

Spend it on other service items. |
I agree with the above

The inlet was designed for a 2.0 so is restrictive by 20%.
Even with a panel filter you get terrible heat soak. If you are worried about puddles just use an enclosed cone and set the intake at the same height as the O/E inlet on the resonator box in the inner wing. |
Induction kit
I managed to make an induction kit based on a Ramair enclosed universal cone filter, matching cold air feed pipe secured where resonator box was in inner wing.I bought a polished intake pipe from a local motor factors along with clips etc, total cost £91,lot less than named brands and Ramair filters flow better than K+N etc.
