ZS remote control car

Does anyone know if its still possible to get these new or second hand?

RudeDogg1 29-06-10 12:26 PM

Was it ever possible to get em?

Moulds were available for a while. Occasionally someone would have a fully built car for sale on ebay. To be fair, my title should probably be "does anyone know if zs moulds are still available". I will a dig around and see what I can find out.

Potoform made the 1/10th scale mould of the mk1 btcc car, but they were sued by MG for not asking permission first. They are extremely rare these days. I've one of the last ones sat under my bed waiting to become a replica of mine

I've still got the original two I raced too

I bought one off ebay a while back and they sent me a Vectra! When I complained they tried to say the picture was for illustration! Suffice to say the ZS shell never turned up.

The supplied rear wing was far too big and made the car really twitchy. I ended up just using it on outdoor tracks and used a smaller one for indoor/ You can't really see it in the pics but the Morrisons car had an almost flat wing with a small kick right at the end

Other than that I can't say it handled any different to any of the other jelly mould shells out there

depending on the car it might still fit. Remember the shell is totally blank so you could just move the rear wheel arch forward a bit before you cut it out
