Everyone Meet...Archie

As some are aware myself and Kate have been looking for sometime at selling off our Civic Type R and returning to MG. This is for many reasons:

1. Miss the scene and fellow owners - other clubs just seem up their own a*se
2. Its how me and Kate first met
3. The way the cars made us feel
4. Financial - Want a big holiday and to finally sort our Garden out.

For those that don't know me or Kate here are a few of our previous projects.

My old 105 ZR

Thats what we have had including a TF 135 but Kate hated that only a week after owning it so nothing really happened with it lol.

So Now....We are back in...

This :D

He is called Archie as Kate names all our cars lol. As you can see he is a 2002 180 in Le Mans Green, he has been fully converted to a MK2 exterior but retained the MK1 interior so to us its the best of both worlds. This is by far the cleanest ZS we viewed that was for sale and had to snap it up, Keith was a gent and held the car for a couple of weeks while the Civic sold. A great bloke to talk to and a pleasure to do business, thanks mate for letting him go :)

stamford 23-05-14 06:27 PM

Good to see you back in an MG, however surprising as you have had a few and moved on, but just shows I guess what a decent community the MG one is! :D

tallgeese 23-05-14 06:47 PM

Very tidy indeed, strange how so many like myself try other cars but are always drawn back to the land of MG :)

Had a bargain at Halfords today, £80 head unit down to £49.50. USB, Aux IN etc ideal replacement for the Mini Disk Player that was in it. Kates small hands and intelligence came in handy when fitting it, forgot how much of a PITA it was fitting a head unit to a ZS. Check the wiring loom on the old unit...

Lukeus101 27-05-14 06:09 PM

Just a bit of headlight restoration

Who do you use Luke? I'm in penistone, and also got a few "bits" needed.

Lukeus101 28-05-14 09:17 PM

Well it will be the first time for me but Nathan Brown sent his Supercharged ZS there after a heavy front end crash. Its as good as new, they come highly recommended. They are called F1 bodyshop based in Cudworth.
