Breaking Mk1 Saloon 180 TY

I give in - I am now breaking GV51 :(

Pmail me an offer for any parts you are interested in.

In an ideal worlk you'll come and strip the part yourself and the cost will reflect this.

If it gets to it can I get first refusal on the carpet. I'm gonna have a look for one today but I'm not hopeful tbh!

LaZeR 19-01-14 04:43 PM

Interested in Drive shaft (driver side) & CV joint if in good condition. What is the mileage and any pictures? Thanks

Yeah but it is a mk2 carpet. You'll have to wait for the seats to go next weekend though.

What pictures do you want?
Car has done 119k.
Drive shaft and CV is defiantly a "remove it yourself part".
I was under the car today taking the exhaust off, that area is absolutely coated in oil.

Where do you live as I'm gonna be doing a trek to Norwich again soon but not till wed 5th feb which is a way away.

talkingcars 19-01-14 05:50 PM

I'm in Horsham, West Sussex, RH12.

My target is to get the car gone on the 1st March.

Skillen 19-01-14 06:38 PM

Ahh balls might be a bit far off course to make it viable :/ and they're a big weight too for delivery.

talkingcars 19-01-14 06:47 PM

I'll get an idea when the seats are out.

Didn't realise you were in Belgium before -
is the engine side or gearbox side?
What do you want pictures of?
IIRC both CV's have been replaced in the last 3 years.

sheldore 24-01-14 07:01 PM

Do you still have the kick plates please.

petet16 24-01-14 07:27 PM

Does anyone have dibs on the dual exhaust ?.

talkingcars 25-01-14 07:49 AM

Kick plates are gone. So are the rear doors electric looms.
I have first dibs on the exhaust - it's going on FE54 (I will take £400 for it though).
Bumpers are going today.
Seats are going tomorrow.

They are available but as they've only been on the car just over a year and were brand new, not refurbished, the price will be keen, pmail me an offer.

The car moved for the last time on Sunday - this weekend will see me disabling the shell, unless someone is desperate for a rolling shell?
