Shame to see it come to this!
I'd love that airbox but simply cannot afford it haha! The cams and verniers however will be affordable and I've been waiting for a set to fit along with belts :)

Paypal?

Malteser 18-04-14 10:09 PM

No rush to get them out so if the easier things are there to take off go for them. just thought I'd get my name down early for them haha!

Bumhole, lost out on cams yet again! Shame it has to be broken but you have certainly been very patient with this project. Some nice bits for sale, alas too much for some.

I knew you'd be there for them too following the PoL chat! I'd have went for re grind if these didnt have the verniers though.

I'd honestly love the x-power springs too but if I lower my car the wheels are going to get eaten by my arches! (Unless anyone has any ideas?)

Someone buy them to get them copied for a group buy!
Or if you want to make some money on FB and the like steve, get a batch copied yourself!

stamford 19-04-14 10:17 AM

Ce la vie! If I did have them they would have sat ages waiting to get fitted!

6282tom 19-04-14 11:05 AM

Hi,

I'm interested in the steering wheel if Malteser doesn't have it.

Tom

petet16 19-04-14 11:46 AM

Getting the xpower springs copied is a not half bad idea, there seems to be some demand for them.

Skillen 19-04-14 12:05 PM

If it's a go I may buy them with next months wage (2weeks away) depending on how much it would cost to get a batch made up and how many numbers we need to make it a viable option.
They seem to be few and far between.

petet16 19-04-14 12:35 PM

Before you commit any money it would be worth contacting a few spring manufacturers to get a handle on costs of making copies, I've no idea how many sets you could sell as lots of people express interest until it comes to fronting the money, whereupon they suddenly lose interest.

peterzs 19-04-14 12:37 PM

And get a deposit!!

I rang a specialist a while back about this and they wanted OE spring rates etc to build against.

There was a group buy for petrol and diesel xpower ZR springs where they sent the springs off. I've emailed the guy who sorted it.
Would they not be able to work off the x-powers with the gauge and number if coils?

You can go ahead Tom. Unfortunately that's not the model of steering I'm looking for. Thanks for the pic and GLWS!

p_b82 22-04-14 08:50 AM

Sad to see the car being broken after all the pain you went through trying to sort it, but needs must at times.

GLWTS though!

That's why I jumped at the chance. Easy to get the cams but nowhere near easy to find the pulleys!
