My Mk1 ZS 180

Been a while since i've stuck pictures up, so i thought i would post a few, sorry about the pic quality being crap, and the location being worse, but it seems to spend a lot of its time there :D

Modifications:
Sheddist clutch kit
Dipped beam and foglights fitted with hids, full beam rally bulbs
Rover 45 headlights + chrome indicator bulbs
Catch tank
Mg mudflaps
Laguna front splitter
mk2 180 badges
Janspeed rear silencer ( hope to get intermediate pipe soon)
Redstuff ceramic pads all round
Toyo T1Rs all round
Motobuild springs
Motobuild rear inner brace bar
Various poly bushes
Pioneer x1r with 6 cd changer
Parrot colour handsfree
Mg mats
Rear electric windows
rear headrests
Leather steering wheel.

Pretty standard, not looking to do much else to it apart from intermediate pipe and possibly upgrade the speakers, saving up and making room for a new toy - don't want to say too much incase i don't get it, then sound like a fool. ( but don't worry i won't be selling the zs :D)

Sensible comments welcome.

And it thought it was worth the tenner and a days work, wasn't sure f i would like it or not, but only 1 way to find out - got the inspiration form stamford, craig 180 and kv6 predators cars.

Aye thats defo the best splitter to go for IMO, changes the look quite a bit :)

Lovely colour too!

Did you notice much difference with the motobuild inner brace bar?

XPCobra 10-03-09 08:45 PM

Fitted it at the same time as i did the springs.

afcbadam 10-03-09 09:22 PM

May get them re-con'd, not sure if i should buy aftermarket wheels again, too difficult to source a spare, however i did love thelook with 18" lenso wheels, but just too unpractical for these roads.

nice to see my old zs still doing the rounds and looking fricking awesome matey
what are the motobuild springs like ride wise by the way

wilko66 12-03-09 12:05 PM

looks sweet bud:bow:, yes, what is the motobuild spring ride like. I have mine on order and can't wait for my zed to look as good as yours:thumbsup:

ZS180V6 12-03-09 03:42 PM

Nice looking car.

Reminds me of my first 180.

I had the light green version.

XPCobra 13-03-09 04:48 PM

Motobuild springs are well worth the money, ride is a lot more controlled and comfier at the same time ( not sure why???), far less body roll too!

afcbadam 13-03-09 04:58 PM

i would have thought the ride would be harder and bumpier with lowered springs. how low are yours?

XPCobra 13-03-09 05:06 PM

same here, its still a hard ride, but isn't as harsh as standard springs and 35mm, i'd definetly recommend them

ian zs180 14-03-09 04:31 PM

Looks nice dont see many that colour
