New Lights & Heatshield - Plus a wash!

Well been a busy man today, fitted the new rear lights, which only took 2 mins then spent the rest of the time trimming the rear bumper to fit my heatshield. :D

Just took my time as i didnt want to make an arse of it and cut too much, managed to just hacksaw it then file it to shape, its on with self tapping screws for the moment, gonna go to the DIY shop and get nuts and bolts shortly :)

Looks good and im happy, both mods together have transformed the rear of the car. Only thing is looks like i have no exhaust lol.

Gonna sort that out, but with the hole in it im not sure what new part i need so am holding off at the mo :D

What ya reckon? :D

john180 25-07-07 05:26 PM

sduk 25-07-07 05:28 PM

MGZS55 25-07-07 08:52 PM

Stunning Sammy, simply stunning...I feel I have some work to do

sduk 25-07-07 09:12 PM

thank you mate, what you wanna do to yours?

arwilson80 25-07-07 09:29 PM

Window tints and tinted rear lights as below - that's it for now

http://a275.ac-images.myspacecdn.com...0c70650c42.jpg

Going to see if Ian can sort me out when I visit - at least he'll have a template should any other ZS owners require tints in a tube sent out.

sduk 25-07-07 09:37 PM

i remember doing that chop :D

looks good, i fancy some rear tints, just need to save up :)

do you have a heatshield, there is one on ebay, such an easy mod :)

arwilson80 25-07-07 10:08 PM

Stupid PC is making duplicate post tonight... or maybe i'm just being too impatient.

MGZS55 25-07-07 10:13 PM

Sammy - the chop is class - I've used it as my mobile front screen too - one day it'll be there.

Great chop da'!

Need to tint the rear lenses though as I want to leave the reverse light section clear.

stamford 25-07-07 10:15 PM

Looking good there Sammy, you would never know it's a 110, only those in the know would.

sduk 25-07-07 10:17 PM

exactly, only the rear drums on the exterior give it away now :)

chriszs180 25-07-07 10:19 PM

looks great mate i'm getting sold on a black one for me now just that is going to be a hatch
so we will look like we are the same but not........
good job anyway..

Glen290 26-07-07 06:18 AM

Looking good there Sammy, those lights really suit in, a nice oval exhaust would really finish it off.
Like those wheels you got too, what make are they and how much for a set ?

sduk 01-08-07 10:46 PM

they are RS GT's not sure if they make them any more tho :)

MGZS190+ 02-08-07 12:15 AM

The lights look nice but if you read up on MG forums they are not the best quality.

Theres many peole who have had a lot of bother with them.

sduk 02-08-07 12:16 AM

oh well fingers crossed they will be ok, certainly are at the moment :) do they leak is that the problem?

Yes Thats one of them

Cant exactly remember the others but do a search on xpowerforums or .org and you should find the others.

sduk 02-08-07 12:24 AM

not members on there :) only the one site for me lol.

but its fine, if it happens to me then i will know to expect it. hopefully be a lucky one thats ok :)

Xorro 04-08-07 07:07 PM

I'd recommend changing the orange bulbs in the ABCs, then you get nice white circle in the middle, not a half white, half orange one.

I have pics of this on my website http://xorro.xpmg.co.uk/vehicles/mgzs/ (scroll to Oct 2005)

sduk 04-08-07 07:18 PM

yup way ahead of you :) got a full set of silvatecs in the house just not got round to fitting them all yet :D
